Bikini Clad Katy Perry’s Hotel Rooftop Pool Hotness

Out basking her bikini clad body for the second day in a row, Katy Perry took to her hotel rooftop pool in Miami Beach, FL on Friday afternoon (July 27).

Clad in a green and gold bandeau swimsuit, the 27-year-old “Firework” pop star spent most of the day soaking up the sunshine alongside her 91-year-old grandma – though she managed to squeeze in a little bit of flirting with some of the fellas before heading back to her posh suite.

During her Sunshine State getaway, Katy found time to post a message expressing her disdain for the Internet, as she wrote, “Someone please pull the plug on the internet. Does it really better us as humans? #writealetter #whoactuallytalks #thistweetishypocritical”

Perhaps Miss Perry is unhappy over her love life being constantly dissected on the web – as she’s most recently been tied to lady-loving lothario John Mayer.

The romance rumors come after Katy and John enjoyed a “lovey-dovey” tryst back on June 19th, of which a source told Us magazine, “They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!”

Victoria Justice Is “So Pumped” For Upcoming ‘Make it in America’ Tour

Promoting her upcoming “Make It In America” tour, Victoria Justice phoned in to “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Friday (July 27).

Talking about the show, the “Victorious” star told Ryan, “I’m so pumped. I’m really ready. I’ve been rehearing and stuff and I’m doing some cool covers and performing a bunch of songs from the show that I think the fans will know, and I have a really great opening act.”

As for what song she’s most proud of, Victoria explained, “It’s called my ‘Make It In America’ tour, which is actually a song that I wrote which ended up on ‘Victorious,’ so I think it’s the song that I’m probably most proud of and that is one of my favorites. It’s a pretty like epic song. It’s like very passionate.”

One hunky singer she’d like to see tag along for one of her performances is a “Jonas Brothers” bandmate admitting, “I would love for [Nick] to come to one of the shows. I was telling him he has to come. Actually a couple of my band members went on tour and my tour manager managed the Jonas Brothers for a while.” adding, “They’re really cool guys. I really like all of them. They’re super nice.”

When the 19-year-old was asked if she ever gets mistaken for “The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev she exclaimed, “Omigosh! You have no idea how often I get told that I look like Nina Dobrev and it’s funny because I’ve been on red carpets before, and I was at, actually like a few years ago, at the premiere of her MTV movie or something that she was doing, and one of her cast mates saw me from behind and comes up and grabs me and squeezes me and kisses me and he’s like, ‘Nina, you look beautiful.’ And then I turn around and I’m like, ‘Um. I’m definitely not. I’m Victoria.’ I swear to you though, it happens like so many, like everyday I get this.”

2012 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony: A Complete Look

Making for quite the sight to be seen, the 2012 Olympic Summer Games Opening Ceremony was held in London, England on Friday night (July 27).

Taking place at Olympic Stadium, the kickoff to the event that sees 26 sports contested by 10,500 athletes over 17 days of competition drew out royals including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry, as well as U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama, actress Nicole Kidman and footballer David Beckham – who helmed a speedboat carrying the Olympic flame during the UK festivities.

As for the theme of London’s Opening Ceremony, spectators were treated to a colorful display charting Britain’s history from the start of the modern Games back in 1896 to the present.

With 80,000 people in attendance for the production, director Danny Boyle took on choreographer duties while including segments such as 1,000 drummers marching through a pastoral setting complete with cows, goats and sheep roaming about with farm children.

The complete Opening Ceremony was put together with Boyle trying to remain under his $15 million budget, which falls far below Beijing’s 2008 production that ended up being the most expensive Opening Ceremony ever at a hefty $40 million total cost.

Of his low-cost efforts, Boyle told the AP, “There has to be a modesty. You can’t get grandiose with this job because you are following Beijing.”

Still spending time in the Keystone State, Miley Cyrus was spotted as she headed out to pick up an iced coffee from Starbucks with a male friend in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday (July 27).

Sporting her usual sock bun hair style, the former “Hannah Montana” star strutted down the street in a long flannel shirt and white dress while interestingly carrying two purses on the same arm after making several “gay” tweets.

Upon rolling out of bed earlier in the morning, Miley admitted she had a busy night, tweeting, “Feel like I’m hangin with a 13 year old girl when I have sleepovers with gays! Weve spent an hour stalking Zayn from @onedirection,” adding, “but gotta admit I love every second of it.”

It seems the duo also kept busy looking up music videos, as Miss Cyrus tweeted around the same time, “I am obsessed with the call me maybe video! LOVE that he goes gay! Sooooooo good!”

The remarks are a continuation of the 19-year-old’s “gay” inclusive posts, as Miley told her Twitter fans earlier in the week, “it’s a beautiful day in the gayborhood.”

week-ending celebration was deemed too loud by local law enforcement.

Despite the initial music-related warning, the cops quickly lightened up – and even engaged in some of the singer’s partying ways by indulging in a beverage with those on the watercraft!
