T.I. Gets Sprung from the Joint

He got thrown in the slammer on a weapons violations charge back in October 2010, and now T.I. is a free man.

The “Whatever You Like” rapper completed his 11-month sentence and was released this morning (August 31) according to his attorney.

Upon his release, T.I. tweeted, “The storm is over and da sun back out. It’s our time to shine, shanty! Welcome to the beginning of our happy ending.”

T.I. also served seven months in an Arkansas prison back in 2009 for trying to buy unregistered guns and silencers from undercover federal agents.
